Three years ago, FBI agent Caleb left his wealthy CEO boyfriend Adrian without a word to go undercover in a crime syndicate. Three years later, after the crime boss is released from prison seeking revenge, Caleb returns as Adrian's personal bodyguard, vowing to protect his true love with his life. Faced with his ex's past secrets and his current willingness to repeatedly risk his life to protect him, Adrian's emotional defenses gradually crumble amidst a struggle of love and hate.
