Dragon Callahan, head of the powerful Callahan Family in Eastport, is ambushed by his cousin Derek Callahan while rushing home through a storm for the birth of his child. After Dragon disappears, Derek seizes control of the family. He kills Dragon's father to obtain the legendary Dragon Cane, kidnaps Dragon's daughter, and forces Dragon's wife to trade the cane for their child. But Dragon survives and secretly rises to become chairman of the powerful Southeast Asian Trade Alliance.
